Join GBTU on Massachusetts Free Fishing Weekend at Ponkapoag Pond for introductory fly casting and fishing! No Fishing license or gear required! Every year on the first weekend of June, Massachusetts opens public freshwater for everyone to fish without a license. Whether you are a seasoned angler or new to the support, join us for this fun and educational event -- we will bring the fishing gear. Come and learn how to fly fish, catch some panfish, or just drink some coffee with the GBTU and Neponset River Watershed Association crowd! Kids are welcome! Meet us on Saturday, June 1st 10:00 am at the Neponset River Watershed Association headquarters (2173 Washington St, Canton, MA 02021) for coffee and donuts before heading to Ponkapoag pond for some fishing.
