Fly Fishing Film Tour (F3T)

Monday, October 1st, 2018 - 6:00pm to Monday, October 1st, 2018 - 9:00pm

Join us for an evening of conservation and adventure! The F3T Film Tour is about more than fly fishing gals and guys hooking into big fish in exotic locations. Sure, there is hefting of Permit, Tiger Fish, Salmon, Queen Fish, and Smallmouth Bass aplenty, but the F3T film festival is, at its core, about water and sharing a love for that water so that it may remain clean, clear, and healthy.

Whether salt, brackish, or fresh, these films explore how water binds us together, mothers and daughters, brothers and sisters, or friends and makes us whatever it is that we call ourselves, conservationists, anglers, or activists.

You don’t have to be a member to attend! Check out these incredible stories of water and fish and the infinitely interesting people behind them.

The Mystic River Watershed Association will be kicking the night off with a talk on their conservation efforts. Despite being the most urbanized and densely populated watershed in New England, the Mystic River hosts the largest river herring migration in Massachusetts! Erica Wood from Mystic River Watershed Association will present on this spectacular migration and the advocacy that made this successful conservation story possible.

GBTU will also be holding a raffle and live auction for some incredible prizes. Stay tuned for more information.
